Jordan records 1021 new coronavirus cases, 12 deaths
Jordan records 1021 new coronavirus cases, 12 deaths

Jordan recorded 12 deaths and 1,021 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 839,544.

The death toll has risen to 10,859.

The cases are:

- 406 in Amman

- 177 in Irbid

- 132 in Zarqa

- 40 in Aqaba

- 66 in Balqa

- 57 in Ajloun

- 28 in Ma'an

- 41 in Mafraq

- 17 in Karak

- 19 in Madaba

- 17 in Jerash

- Three in Petra

- 15 in Tafilah

- Three in Ramtha

A total of 82 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 76 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 482 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 14,847 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 27,715 PCR were conducted.

Friday, 3.68 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.64 percent Thursday.
