Saudi Arabia's state media reported Thursday afternoon that the Kingdom will ease COVID-19 measures from Oct. 17, due to a sharp drop in daily infections.
Mecca and Madina mosques will now be allowed to operate at full capacity, as will public places like malls, transport systems, and theatres.
In enclosed spaces, masks will be optional for fully-vaccinated people.
