Thursday, the Israeli Occupation froze the administrative detention order of Palestinian prisoner Kayed Al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 93 days.

Al-Fasfous continued his strike despite the decision, and has said he will not end it until his detention is completely withdrawn.

The decision to freeze the administrative detention of a prisoner effectively rids the Israeli Occupation intelligence services and prisons of responsibility for the prisoner, but instead leaves hospital security in charge of his care.

Family and friends can visit the prisoner with frozen administrative detention status, but he cannot be moved from the hospital.

Al Fasfous' legal team has been submitting petitions to the Israeli Occupation Supreme Court for his immediate release for weeks, and will continue to do so until he is free.
