Jordan records nine deaths and 1,191 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded nine deaths and 1,191 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 835,969.

The death toll has risen to 10,827.

The cases are:

-445 in Amman

-258 in Irbid

-114 in Zarqa

-60 in Aqaba

-50 in Ajloun

-44 in Karak

-44 in Ma'an

-39 in Madaba

-38 in Balqa

-35 in Mafraq

-23 in Jerash

-22 in Tafilah

-19 in Ramtha

A total of 73 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 60 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 469 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 14,129 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 30,456 PCR were conducted.

Tuesday, 3.91 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 4.02 percent Monday.
