Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued Communication No. (46) for the year 2021 on Tuesday afternoon.

This included preventing the gathering of more than 10 people in indoor areas; preventing the gathering of more than 15 people at one table in restaurants’ outdoor areas; and ordering that the distance between the tables in all cases should not be less than two meters.

The communication also included obligating malls, shopping centers, banking sector facilities, telecommunications companies, galleries, tourist restaurants, cafes, hotels, and the distribution office of electricity companies and water companies, not to allow anyone to enter these establishments unless they hold the Sanad app ‘green’ status.

According to the communication, any facility that violates these measures will be fined JD 1,000 for its first violation, JD 3,000 for its second violation, and JD 5,000 for its third violation, in addition to shutting down the facility in case it repeats the violation.
