The Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, decided to suspend all ministries, official departments, institutions, public bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government on Oct. 19, in honor of the Prophet's day of birth. 

The statement issued by the Prime Minister on Tuesday excluded ministries, departments and official institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
