Jordan recorded nine deaths and 1,072 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 833,741.

The death toll has risen to 10,811.

-49 in Mafraq

-45 in Karak

-43 in Ajloun

-27 in Jerash

-27 in Madaba

-19 in Tafilah

A total of 67 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 34 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 473 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 13,688 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 27,452 PCR were conducted.

Sunday, 3.91 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.89 percent Saturday.
