Saturday, a member of the National Committee for Epidemics Bassam Hijjawi denied rumors about imposing a total lockdown on Fridays in Jordan.
In an interview with Roya, Hijjawi said that the epidemiological situation in Jordan has been stable for 11 weeks.
Hijjawi added that the recorded numbers of COVID-19 infections are ‘reasonable.’
He pointed out that the rate of daily admissions to hospitals ranges between 400 and 450 people, which indicates the stability of the epidemiological curve.
