Palestine confirms 11 deaths and 467 new coronavirus cases

Palestine recorded 11 deaths and 467 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Ministry of Health Saturday.

The new deaths involved seven in the West Bank and four in the Gaza Strip.

The recovery rate in Palestine stands at 94.4 percent, while the active case rate is 4.6 percent and the death rate is one percent.

The new coronavirus cases included six in Tubas; 12 in Hebron; 21 in Bethlehem; six in Jericho and al-Aghwar; two in the suburbs of Jerusalem; 24 in Nablus; two in Qalqilya; two in Salfit; 17 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; eight in Jenin; three in Tulkarm; and 364 in the Gaza Strip.

The recovery cases included 10 in Tubas; 32 in Hebron; 41 in Bethlehem; 55 in Jericho and al-Aghwar; 15 in the suburbs of Jerusalem; 100 in Nablus; 31 in Qalqilya; 33 in Salfit; 65 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 88 in Jenin; 85 in Tulkarm; and 1,457 in Gaza.

A total of 3,082 PCR tests have been conducted.

Currently, 76 people are in ICUs and 14 are on ventilators.
