The government’s daily coronavirus announcement revealed the occupancy rates in hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients across Jordan as of Friday, Oct. 8.

The occupancy rates in hospitals in northern region:

-Isolation beds: nine percent

-Intensive care units: 20 percent

-Artificial respirators: 11 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in central region:

-Isolation beds: 14 percent

-Intensive care units: 24 percent

-Artificial respirators: seven percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in southern region:

-Isolation beds: seven percent

-Intensive care units: 13 percent

-Artificial respirators: 11 percent

Jordan recorded six deaths and 888 new coronavirus cases Friday.
