The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that it is following up on conditions of Jordanian citizens residing in Oman, which is facing Tropical Cyclone Shaheen of category 1.

The ministry, which is monitoring the situation through its operations center in coordination with the Jordanian embassy in Oman, called on citizens to take the utmost caution, and to adhere to the public safety instructions issued by Omani authorities.

In cases of emergency and to request assistance, citizens can call the embassy's hotline (0096893921146) or the Ministry's Operations Center (00962795497777), the ministry said Saturday in a statement.
