Jordan's population is expected to reach 11 million people on Friday, Oct. 1, according to the Department of Statistics (DoS) Thursday.

According to the latest data published by the DoS, the number of Jordan’s population as of Thursday, Sept. 30, is 10.998 million, which is an increase of 192,000 people since the beginning of 2021.

At the end of 2020, Jordan’s population was 10,806 million.

Earlier, Tadamon (Sisterhood is Global Institute Jordan - SIGI) indicated that monthly, a total of 22,000 people are born in Jordan which means that the number of Jordan's population will increase during 2021 by 264,000 males and females.
