Monday at dawn, two IOF soldiers were wounded in Nablus after violent confrontations with armed men.

The confrontations erupted after hundreds of settlers entered Joseph’s Tomb near Balata refugee camp, according to reports from Hebrew media.

Palestinian security sources said that more than twenty buses of settlers, around 500 individuals, entered Joseph’s shrine in Nablus heavily guarded by the IOF, who spread around the vicinity of the tomb and on the roofs of houses.

The night was described as one of the most violent as the Palestinian citizens set rubber tires on fire and threw stones and empty bottles at the soldiers.

Sources confirmed that more than one shooting attack at the IOF was recorded, leading the IOF to force the settlers to flee from Joseph’s Tomb before finishing the religious rituals according to the planned schedule.
