Jordan recorded 16 deaths and 438 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 818,796.

The death toll has risen to 10,669.

The cases are:

-57 in Zarqa

-52 in Aqaba

-20 in Tafilah

-18 in Balqa

-16 in Ma'an

-15 in Jerash

-13 in Karak

-11 in Ajloun

-Seven in Mafraq

-Four in Ramtha

A total of 52 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 44 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 484 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,295 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 16,587 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 2.64 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.5 percent Friday.
