Friday, Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 17 deaths, and 2,231 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

In the daily report on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry said that the new deaths were recorded in Gaza (12), Tulkarm (2), Nablus (2), Salfit (1).

The new infections were recorded as follows: Tulkarm: 93; Salfit: 21; Nablus: 87; Tubas: 6; Qalqilya: 26; Jenin: 54; Ramallah and Al-Bireh: 90; Jericho and the Jordan Valley: 40; the outskirts of Jerusalem: 26; Hebron: 25; Bethlehem: 18; the Gaza Strip: 1,745.

72 patients are receiving treatment in intensive care rooms, while 205 patients are being treated in COVID-19 centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including 14 on artificial respirators.

674,883 people are fully vaccinated.
