Jordan recorded nine deaths and 870 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 815,546.

The death toll has risen to 10,633.

The cases are:

-50 in Jerash

-45 in Ma'an

-37 in Mafraq

-32 in Balqa

-32 in Karak

-25 in Aqaba

-18 in Ajloun

-13 in Tafilah

-12 in Madaba

-Six in Ramtha

-Four in Petra

A total of 79 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 76 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 489 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,195 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 27,317 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 3.18 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.51 percent Monday.
