Jordan records 12 deaths and 428 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 12 deaths and 428 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 812,681.

The death toll has risen to 10,606.

The cases are:

- 207 in Amman

- 44 in Irbid

- 38 in Zarqa

- 26 in Tafilah

- 26 in Ajloun

- 25 in Aqaba

- 13 in Karak

- 12 in Ma'an

- Nine in Petra

- Nine in Mafraq

- Seven in Madaba

- Two in Jerash

- One in Ramtha

A total of 57 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 35 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 515 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,441 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 16,640 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 2.57 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.11 percent Friday.
