Jordan records 11 deaths and 489 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 11 deaths and 489 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 806,501.

The death toll has risen to 10,452.

The cases are: 

- 168 in Amman

- 102 in Zarqa

- 74 in Irbid

- 32 in Aqaba

- 25 in Tafilah

- 25 in Mafraq

- 15 in Balqa

- 13 in Jerash

- 11 in Ma'an

- Nine in Karak

- Nine in Ajloun

- Five in Madaba

- One in Petra

A total of 73 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 39 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 528 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,151 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 20,664 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 2.37 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.91 percent Friday.
