Jordan records 17 deaths and 888 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 17 deaths and 888 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 805,214.

The death toll has risen to 10,518.

The cases are:

-420 in Amman

-109 in Irbid

-96 in Zarqa

-52 in Jerash

-49 in Tafilah

-31 in Karak

-27 in Balqa

-25 in Aqaba

-23 in Ma'an

-18 in Ajloun

-17 in Mafraq

-11 in Madaba

-Six in Ramtha

-Four in Petra

A total of 60 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 54 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 527 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,032 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 29,450 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 3.02 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.19 percent Wednesday.
