More than 2.9 million fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Jordan

Monday, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the latest coronavirus vaccination report for the Kingdom.

The number of those registered on the ministry's national COVID-19 vaccination platform totals to 3,931,670.

Those who received the first coronavirus jab reached 3,450,724 while a total of 2,920,834 received both doses of the vaccine.

The Minister of Health Feras Hawari told Roya's Nabd Albalad Monday that the rate of herd immunity in Jordan has reached 74 percent, allowing for a stable epidemiological situation.

He indicated that the Ministry of Health is considering giving a third booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to everyone in the future, stressing that all vaccines used in Jordan are based on local studies.

Jan. 13, Jordan began its national COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
