Sunday, the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization sent a third medical aid plane to the brotherly Lebanese people, in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army.

The plane is carrying medicines and medical supplies, which will be delivered to the concerned authorities in Lebanon, in light of a deepening political, economic, and humanitarian crisis.

Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the Commission, said that the Commission, in implementation of the royal directives, is working in coordination with all medical authorities in the public and private sectors, to provide medical materials and supplies to be delivered to brotherly Lebanon, in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army.

An atmosphere of mourning and shock prevails in Lebanon, mixed with popular anger in the wake of the killing of about 30 people in the north of the country who were trying to get a few liters of gasoline from a tank that exploded last Sunday, in a new disaster for the country mired in successive crises and tragedies.

The Lebanese wait daily in long queues in front of gas stations to obtain small quantities of gasoline. Some stations have completely closed their doors, forcing many to resort to buying fuel on the black market.

Farah, a 21-year-old recently graduated from university, said, "I don't know if I'm crying over Akkar's explosion or everything. I'm afraid we will reach a point where we will have to flee across the sea...and we may die by drowning."

The plane is the third that Jordan has sent in Lebanon in a week, and the sixth sent since the Beirut Port blast.
