Monday, Egyptian media announced that a bride died an hour after her wedding in the Maidum village in Beni Suef Governorate, southern Egypt.

The bride, later identified as Kholoud Ahmed Ghayati, suffered from a sudden heart attack which led to her death instantly.

A woman from the village said that Ghayati was preparing for her wedding with great joy and excitement, and she bought the furniture and moved to her new apartment.
