Jordan records 11 deaths and 990 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 11 deaths and 990 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 772,743.

The death toll has risen to 10,059.

The cases are: 

-486 in Amman

-156 in Zarqa

-112 in Irbid

-35 in Balqa

-35 in Tafilah

-33 in Ma'an

-27 in Ajloun

-26 in Karak

-21 in Jerash

-19 in Mafraq

-17 in Madaba

-11 in Petra

-Six in Ramtha

-Six in Aqaba

A total of 90 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 66 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 10,715 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 611 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 24,231 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 4.09 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 4.17 percent on Sunday.
