More than 33,000 tourists have taken part in 'Our Jordan is a Paradise' program
More than 33,000 tourists have taken part in 'Our Jordan is a Paradise' program

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said Sunday that more than 33,500 tourists have taken part in the "Our Jordan is a Paradise" program for domestic tourism. 

Supported by the Ministry and the Tourism Promotion Authority, the program, designed for Jordanian citizens, provides free transportation to dozens of tourist destinations by way of modern busses. Tourists are accompanied by a tour guide, and receive free meals. 

The hope of the program is to stimulate and revitalize domestic tourism, and encourage citizens to visit places within Jordan. 

The Assistant Director-General of the Tourism Promotion Authority and Director of the Our Jordan is a Paradise program, Yazan Al-Khudair, indicated that new trips have been added to the program, including a visits to Ajloun, Jerash, Tafileh, Dana, and Karak. 

He stressed that the program committee reviews and evaluates the trip programs periodically, and adjusts them to suit the citizens' desires.
