Jordan recorded 10 deaths and 1,008 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 769,390.

The death toll has risen to 10,010. 

The cases are:

- 511 in Amman

- 174 in Zarqa

- 86  in Irbid

- 41 in Balqa

- 32 in Jerash

- 28 in Madaba

- 27 in Tafilah

- 24 in Karak

- 18 in Mafraq

- 8 in Ma'an

- 25 in Ajloun

- 21 in Aqaba

- 13 in Ramtha

A total of 81 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 53 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,704 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 526 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 27,681 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 3.64 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 4.17 percent on Wednesday.
