Thursday, the Public Prosecutor of Amman decided to prevent the trial of the defendants in the Gardens Hospital case.

The General Secretariat of the Judicial Council said that the decision was based on the forensic report and the report of the technical committee, which is formed from doctors and specialists, who confirmed that the power outage had nothing to do with the deaths.

Notably, the decision is subject to approval by the Attorney General.

Wednesday, the Director of the National Center for Forensic Medicine, Hassan al-Hawari, announced the results of the two reports issued by the Department of Laboratories and Criminal Evidence, the Ministry of Health, and Forensic Medicine, in relation to the death of a man and a woman in the Gardens Hospital Sunday.

Hawari told Roya that the results of the forensic medicine’s report showed that both deaths were caused by blood clots due to "staying in bed for a long period of time."
