Jordan records 21 deaths and 1,055 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 21 deaths 1,055 and new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 768,382.

The death toll has risen to 10,000.

The cases are:

-562 in Amman

-127 in Zarqa

-102 in Irbid

-62 in Balqa

-39 in Jerash

-33 in Madaba

-30 in Tafilah

-29 in Karak

-21 in Mafraq

-21 in Ma'an

-15 in Ajloun

-13 in Aqaba

-One in Ramtha

A total of 78 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 81 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,357 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 508 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 25,277 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,426,429.

Wednesday, 4.17 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 4.63 percent on Tuesday.
