Sunday, the Israel Occupation Foreign Minister Yair Lapid appointed Amir Hayek as the Istaeli Occupation’s permanent ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

The post is currently held on a temporary basis by Eitan Na'eh.

Hayek is the president of the Israeli Occupation Hotel Association. He previously headed the Manufacturers' Association of the Israeli Occupation and was Director General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.

"Amir Hayek has a lot of experience and a good knowledge of the fields of economy and tourism. He will be the right person to establish the bridge between the Israeli [Occupation] and the United Arab Emirates," Lapid said.

July 14, the UAE opened its embassy in the Israeli Occupation.

In September, the UAE normalized relations with the Israeli Occupation.
