Jordan recorded 15 deaths and 485 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 763,922.

The death toll has risen to 9,948.

The cases are: 

-275 in Amman

-51 in Zarqa

-47 in Irbid

-23 in Ajloun

-22 in Balqa

-19 in Karak

-14 in Tafilah

-11 in Aqaba

-11 in Jerash

-Nine in Mafraq

-Two in Madaba

A total of 75 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 38 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,568 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 529 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 16,620 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,324,525.

Saturday, 2.92 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.18 percent on Friday.
