Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced Saturday the arrest of those who planned and carried out the suicide attack that took place in Baghdad last Monday, July 19.

The attack killed 30 people and injured more than 60 others.

A day after the suicide attack, Daesh claimed responsibility for it. In a message posted to its Telegram channel, the militant group said a suicide bomber named Abu Hamza al-Iraqi detonated his explosive belt in the middle of a crowd in Sadr City, an eastern Baghdad suburb on Monday night.
