Jordan records four deaths and 331 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded four deaths and 331 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 763,437.

The death toll has risen to 9,933.

The cases are:

- 219 in Amman

- 35 in Zarqa

- 26 in Irbid

- 12 in Mafraq

- 10 in Aqaba

- Seven in Ajloun

- Seven in Jerash

- Seven in Tafilah

- Three in Balqa

- Three in Ramtha

- Two in Madaba

A total of 54 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 45 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,489 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 498 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 15,172 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,307,905.

Friday, 2.18 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.36 percent on Thursday.
