Jordan records seven deaths and 400 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded seven deaths and 400 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 763,106.

The death toll has risen to 9,929.

The cases are:

- 235 in Amman

- 49 in Zarqa

- 28 in Irbid

- 19 in Tafilah

- 18 in Ajloun

- 17 in Balqa

- 12 in Jerash

- 10 in Mafraq

- Five in Karak

- Four in Madaba

- Two in Ma'an

- One in Aqaba

A total of 71 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 49 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,626 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 496 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 16,955 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,292,733.

Thursday, 2.36 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.92 percent on Wednesday.
