Jordan records six deaths and 286 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded six deaths and 286 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 762,706.

The death toll has risen to 9,922.

The cases are:

- 151 in Amman

- 39 in Zarqa

- 32 in Irbid

- 21 in Tafilah

- 13 in Ajloun

- 10 in Mafraq

- Six in Aqaba

- Four in Jerash

- Four in Karak

- Three in Madaba

- Two in Balqa

- One in Ma'an

A total of 83 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 37 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,779 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 481 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 9,797 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,275,778.

Wednesday, 2.92 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.85 percent on Tuesday.
