Tuesday, His Majesty King Abdullah II met in Washington with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

During the meeting, which was attended by HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, they reviewed the strategic partnership relations between Jordan and the United States, and the prospects for cooperation in the military and security fields.

They also discussed the latest developments in the region, and the ongoing regional and international efforts in the war on terrorism.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Director of His Majesty's Office, and the Kingdom's Ambassador to Washington.
