Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett retracted his statements in which he said that both Jews and Muslims have the right to worship at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office issued a statement saying that "Bennett meant that both Jews and Muslims had the right to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque, rather than the right to worship."
The statement added that Bennett made a mistake Sunday, when he said that both Jews and Muslims enjoy freedom of worship in Al-Aqsa Mosque, explaining that the current situation in the mosque will remain as it is.
Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett commented on the events that erupted in Al-Aqsa Mosque after its storming by settlers, saying: "The freedom of worship of Jews and Muslims in Al-Aqsa Mosque must be preserved."
