Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Sunday that freedom of worship is fully guaranteed to Jews, as well as Muslims, in the temporal division scheme that the occupation government seeks to impose in Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

In a brief statement issued by Bennett's office, Bennett "thanks Minister of Internal Security Omer Bar-Lev, and Inspector General of Police, Yaakov Sheftai, for managing events" at Al-Aqsa Mosque today and for "preserving the freedom of worship for Jews," as he put it.

The statement added that Bennett stressed that "the freedom of worship on the Temple Mount / Haram al-Sharif (in reference to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) will also be fully preserved for Muslims, who will celebrate the Day of Arafa and Eid al-Adha in the coming days."

It is noteworthy that members of Knesset from the government coalition parties participated today in the storming of Al-Aqsa, including MK Amihai Shikli and MK Yom Tov Hai Khalfon from the Yamina party, in addition to MK Sharon Haskell from the Tikva Hadasha party.
