Sunday, the Higher Education Council held a session headed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Muhammad Abu Qdais. In the session, it was decided to apply the following principles regarding the midterm and final exams for the summer semester of the academic year 2020/2021.

- Bachelor's degree students:

1- Midterm and final exams will be held remotely for the courses that are taught electronically.

2- Midterm and final exams for all courses taught on the university campus, will be conducted inside the university campus.

3- As for the graduation projects, each university decides whether to do it online or inside the university campus.

- Intermediate diploma students:

1- Same procedures applied on bachelor’s students, are applied to students of the intermediate diploma stage.

2- The comprehensive exam for students of the intermediate diploma stage is held on the university campus in the usual manner.

- Postgraduate students:

1- Midterm and final exams for all academic levels (higher diploma/Masters/PhD) are held inside the university campus.

2- Comprehensive exams and university proficiency exams for students are held on the university campus in the usual manner.

- International students who are outside the Kingdom:

In the event that they are not able to return to the Kingdom to take midterm and final exams in courses which exams cannot be held electronically, comprehensive exams for master’s students, university proficiency exams for doctoral students, and to discuss master’s theses and doctoral theses, then it is left to the university to take action based on what it finds suitable.

However, this decision excludes human medicine students in their clinical stages (fourth, fifth and sixth years), students of dental facilities (fourth and fifth years), pharmacy students (sixth year), and nursing students (third and fourth years).
