Saturday, a husband and his wife died as a result of a collision that occurred between two vehicles in Ma’an, according to the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD). 

Additionally, four of their children were severely injured following the accident.

The rescue and ambulance teams in the Civil Defense Directorate dealt with the incident immediately and provided the necessary first aid to the injured, then transferred the deceased and the injured to Ma'an Governmental Hospital and Queen Rania Governmental Hospital.

The spokesperson lastly indicated that the medical staff at Ma'an Governmental Hospital performed a caesarean section for the deceased mother after it was found that she was pregnant with twins. The medical staff extracted the two fetuses and placed them on medical devices.
