Friday, a Public Security officer was injured during a raid conducted by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) to arrest a wanted person in Shobak, according to a media spokesperson for the PSD.

The spokesperson added that the wanted man fired shots at the security force. The officer was transferred to a hospital to receive treatment.

Investigations are currently underway.
