Governor of Jerash, Firas Abu Qaoud, announced the governorate's readiness to hold the Jerash Festival in case the government takes a decision to hold the festival.

However, this decision depends on the COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom.

In a meeting of the governorate's Executive Council Sunday, in the presence of directors of government departments operating in Jerash, Abu Qaoud called on employees to adhere to defense orders, especially after they returned to operate at 100 percent capacity.
