Tawjihi exams ‘difficult and require more time’: MP

Sunday, MP Bilal Al-Momani, head of the Parliamentary Education Committee, said that the Tawjihi exam questions are suitable for students who received in-person education and not for those who studied distance learning.

Momani said in a meeting held by the committee, in the presence of the Minister of Education, that the exam questions were difficult and students required more time.

He noted that the economic situation in Jordan during the COVID-19 pandemic prevented some students from receiving education equally.

He lastly indicated that the Minister of Education, Muhammad Abu Qdais, was following up with the MPs all the observations received, and ordered the formation of a committee to monitor and address all the observations related to the Tawjihi exams.
