Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya confirmed Saturday the increase in the number of people allowed to enter through the Jaber border post and Sheikh Hussein Bridge to 500 people per day, up from 150. 

The new directive will take effect Friday, and comes within the approved health requirements.

The Minister of Interior said that this measure is within the implementation of the Prime Minister's directives and serves the purpose of easing travel through border crossings.
