The 36-year-old Jordanian prisoner Thaer Shafut arrived in Jordan Friday, after his release from the prisons of the Israeli Occupation on July 5.

Shafut was arrested on April 17, 2019 on charges of resisting the Israeli Occupation.

A total of 20 Jordanian prisoners are currently serving time in Israeli Occupation prisons, where the humanitarian conditions are made more difficult by the fact that prisoners are not allowed to communicate with their families.
