Wednesday, the UAE's Emirates Airlines announced the operation of three flights per day to and from the capital, Amman, between July 4 to 14, and August 20 to 31.
The company's spokesperson said that the increase in the number of flights comes together with an increase in seat capacity on board their planes, and the allocation of the giant Airbus A380 aircraft to take routes to Amman.
This decision comes in response to the high demand for travel during the summer and Eid al-Adha holidays, said the spokesperson.
The spokesperson added that the airlines will continue to closely evaluate operations to Jordan and will operate its flights in line with demand, commercial priorities and other operational factors.
