Jordan records 10 deaths and 505 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 10 deaths and 505 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 754,281.

The death toll has risen to 9,795.

The cases are:

- 230 in Amman

- 103 in Zarqa

- 54 in Irbid

- 19 in Karak

- 16 in Balqa

- 15 in Aqaba

- 15 in Mafraq

- 12 in Ajloun

- 11 in Tafilah

- 10 in Jerash

- Nine in Madaba

- Six in Ramtha

- Four in Ma'an

- One in Petra

A total of 70 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 54 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 6,777 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 599 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 737,709.

There are 478 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 21,222 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,989,178.

Tuesday, 2.38 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.79 percent on Monday.
