Israeli Occupation targets airstrikes on Palestinian resistance sites in Gaza

During the early hours of Friday, the Israeli Occupation hit Palestinian resistance sites in Gaza with airstrikes in response to the alleged launch of incendiary balloons from the strip, according to Hebrew media.

Security sources with Palestinian resistance group Hamas, confirmed the strikes hit training sites.

There were no injuries reported.

May 21, the 11-day aggression ended on the Gaza Strip, wherein the Israeli Occupation pounded the enclave with airstrikes that killed 260 Palestinians, including children and women.

A ceasefire was announced, but there have been multiple boughts of violence by the Israeli Occupation since the ceasefire. Following an unfair exchange of fire June 18,  the Israeli Occupation army chief ordered forces to be ready “for a variety of scenarios including a resumption of hostilities”.

The Israeli Occupation has maintained a crippling blockade on the Gaza Strip since 2007.
