Thursday, with the second-phase of plan to reopen sectors coming into effect, the government decided to amend the number of guests allowed to attend social gatherings in private homes.

In accordance with Communication No. (39) of 2021 issued on the basis of the provisions of Defense Order No. (19) of 2020, the government decided to allow social gatherings to be held, provided that the number does not exceed 50 people in outer areas of homes, and 30 people in closed spaces.

March 2020, the government announced that social gatherings at home will be limited to 20 people.
