The Israeli Occupation government and leaders of settlements in the West Bank have agreed to evacuate the 'Avitar' outpost built in Jabal Sabeeh near Nablus, and to establish it in the future, in exchange for leaving that settlement not later than Friday.

According to Hebrew media, an agreement was signed during the late hours of the night regarding the evacuation of the settlement outpost, which was built on the lands of Palestinian residents in Beita, Nablus.

The settlement agreement stipulates that the settlement units on the site will be kept closed without being demolished, pending the resolution of the settlement land case, and for the Civil Administration to be given six weeks to decide on the lands and legalize the settlement outpost built on privately owned Palestinian lands.

If the Civil Administration claims that the land does not belong to the Palestinians, the Israeli Occupation government will cancel the demolition orders issued against the settlement units.

Until the land issue and the legalization of the outpost will be decided upon, a fixed military point will be established on the site to protect the settlement units. About 30 religious school students and three families from the school staff will be allowed to stay in the outpost, while a military religious school will be established in the outpost.

On the eve of the evacuation of the outpost by agreement, the Israeli Occupation army is expected to send more forces and units to the northern West Bank and the Jabal Sabeeh area near Nablus, where the outpost was established, as part of the preparations for the evacuation of the outpost.

Consultations and negotiations took place between government officials, the Security Ministry and settler leaders regarding the evacuation of 'Avitar' in agreement and without confrontations with the army and police forces, noting that the mentioned outpost, which was established February, was scheduled to be evacuated during the era of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, who deliberately postponed this after he failed negotiations to form a government headed by him.
