The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a few days ago, the Ramtha Police Directorate received information about the presence of a decomposing body in an empty area in the district.

The spokesperson added that after investigations, it was found that the body belonged to a female of Asian nationality, and several months had passed since her death.

Investigations also revealed that a suspect of Asian nationality was behind the killing of the victim.

Authorities were able to pinpoint his whereabouts and arrested the murderer.

During interrogation, he confessed to committing the crime. He said he had strangled her to death several months ago, following previous disputes between them.

The case was referred to the Public Prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court.

The authorities did not disclose the specific nationality of the victim or perpetrator.
