Wednesday, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that those aged between 16 and 18 are allowed to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine in Jordan. They can register on the official online platform designated to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Earlier Wednesday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin announced that the national vaccination campaign will now allow anyone over the age of 40 to receive the vaccine without a prior appointment, starting Friday July 2, 2021.

The Health Ministry lastly said that 141,000 messages were sent to citizens to receive the vaccine Wednesday.
